Dear 11th District Republicans:

I’m proud to announce that I have become a candidate for Republican Chairman of the Virginia 11th Congressional District. I’m an economic and social conservative who will promote positive conservative solutions to the problems confronting our nation and the citizens of the 11th District; as well as candidates and elected officials who will implement these solutions.

In terms of campaign history, I’m a “grass roots guy,” and have been active in Northern Virginia Republican races since 2002. I conduct (and lead others in conducting) “under the radar” voter outreach to socially conservative church congregations on behalf of Republican candidates. This outreach effort has brought many new Republicans into our party in support of candidates like Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, and Ken Cuccinelli. It clearly is a useful tool, particularly in close elections. I’m proud and honored to have received Ken’s enthusiastic endorsement in this campaign.

I’ve also been active in Republican politics at the national level, having been a senior aide to former Senator Jesse Helms and having been involved in several Republican presidential and U.S. Senate and House campaigns. I’m a guy who gets things done; have a track record of success, and believe I can make a real difference in the 11th District.
